A Custom Hand Painted French Provincial Kitchen.

This Renovation required that we first remove an existing dividing wall and lift the existing tiled flooring. We also constructed the new Boral LedgeStone column for the Fire surround and TV and added the more Boral LedgeStone walling behind the AGA Falcon Oven; creating continuity of these speces. Once this structural work was complete and we had then made and Installed this quality Hand Painted French Provincial Kitchen, we also then set down new Boral Stringybark Parquetry Flooring throughout with continuous banding at the borders in contrasting Jarrah and Tasmanian Oak; whereby unifying all these living areas with this beautiful flooring.

We also made the matching bookcases that flank the new Chimney Stonework in the adjoining family room; adding continuity to the Kitchen and Lounge areas and then fitted the new Gas Escea Fireplace and built-in LCD TV with a custom made Stainless Steel flashings.

We custom made this beautiful French Provincial Kitchen, using select White Fantasy Granite for the Benchtop. It has French Provincial Hand Painted cabinets with characteristic Bolection Moulded Drawer fronts and contrasting Raised panel Doors. The kitchen also has the traditional Reided End Columns with Roundel capitals that are typical of this style. All the tall cabinets here were topped with our Classic head moulding which included a Dental Mould relief; again in keeping with this French Provincial style.

Being true to this style we made a new Inglenook Fireplace for the Kitchen, which incorporated an Over Mantle and  Hand Carved the suport Corbels, while setting these over the AGA Falcon Oven Range. Within this Inglenook Fireplace we concealed a Whispair Monte Carlo 120 (1200mm wide) Rangehood unit which has a separate in-line motor placed up in the roof space for a very quiet fume extraction. We designed this Inglenook to be 800mm deep where at the back we built a Boral LedgeStone feature wall which we back-lit and encased it behind a clear Glass Splashback.

We concealed our client's favorite Coffee machine with pull-out shelf into the pillar cabinets and concealed in the Island a Miele full integrated Dishwasher using false Drawer front panels. Our client had selected a Belfast Butlers sink along with a Mono-block Ionian tap set by Perrin & Rowe which again are well in keeping with this French Provincial Style.

Overall this was a very satisfying and very complex project, which resulted in a huge transformation of the original space; and making this Kitchen Renovation a very family friendly area while also creating a very inviting space when entertaining friends.
