Contemporary Style Kitchen Renovation

For this Kitchen Renovation at Victor Harbor South Australia, our client wanted to achieve an open space with clean lines and a fresh look incorporating easy to maintain materials and hard-wearing finishes. Our Clients wanted plenty of preparation space separate to the sink area in the Island as well as ample storage for their Kitchenware.

For this project, our clients selected the classic Caesarstone benchtop material of Ice Snow, where we incorporated Mitred Waterfall Ends to the floor to complete this contemporary style. This Island bench is over 4.3 meters long where the additional benefit of this Reconstituted Stone material which has a fine grain, is that we were able to achieve this length by producing an invisible joint which could only be seen when it was pointed out at very close inspection.

We paired this Contemporary style Countertop with high Gloss Polyurethane Two-Pack on Flat Panel Doors, Drawers, and panels including bases; where for these our clients selected a vivid Designer White colour.

We also carried on this Contemporary Style by making all the tall overhead cabinets and their doors run all the way up to the ceiling and then incorporating a contrasting black Shadow Mould atop. With the 2700 mm tall ceilings, these high cabinets also added lots of useful storage. We completed this contemporary linear look with the use of Wide Satin Stainless Steel “D” shaped handles of various sizes that balanced the width of the Doors and Drawers.


Our clients here are very tall and had selected a contemporary freestanding Stainless Steel range & oven which we custom made longer legs for; so it stood level with the custom 950mm high benchtops and cabinets that we built. They then paired this stove with a Robinhood Stainless Steel Canopy, Stainless Steel Dishwasher and an Inset Oliveri Petite double bowl Stainless Steel sink. For this, we added a three-in-one Culino Tap which has a filtered water outlet and regulator built into the spout which keeps this water separate to the main Hot and Cold supply. By using this all-in-One tap fitting we did not have to have two individual taps, thus preserving the uncluttered streamlined look.
